Accredited Inpatient, Day and Pain Management Programs




The Toronto Rehabilitation Centre is a twenty bed Inpatient purpose built facility, a Day Program facility and Pain Management program, that provides services for a person of any age with a disability. The modern inpatient unit offers 14 single and 3 double rooms all with ensuites and individual air-conditioning. Rooms are light and spacious and offer a tranquil atmosphere both at night and during the day when rest is needed between therapy sessions. The rooms are designed to provide a safe, pleasant environment where clients can interact with their doctors, nurses or therapist in private. [Photo of Rehab Lounge]



[Photo of Hydrotherapy Pool] Facilities include physiotherapy/gymnasium area, comprehensive occupational therapy area and service, and onsite hydrotherapy pool.



The Assisted Daily Living (ADL) suite, is designed as a mini apartment and includes a kitchen, bedroom/lounge and bathroom. It is ideal for the client who is ready to return home but requires assistance with confidence to go home. It also allows for monitoring by the rehabilitation team and to assess safe night independence. It can offer the assurance a client needs to enable a smooth transition from hospital to home. The Toronto Rehabilitation Centre is staffed by experienced Rehabilitation Physicians, Specialist Rehabilitation Nurses and Allied Health staff qualified in all areas of rehabilitation care. The staff are committed to providing a well co-ordinated and effective service. Allied health professionals involved in the rehabilitation process include:
