Medical Advisory Board

The Medical Advisory Board is comprised of accredited medical practitioners representing at least two surgical specialties, anaesthetists, general practitioners, physicians and rehabilitation specialists.

The Medical Advisory Board provides a means whereby members of the medical staff can participate in the policy making and planning process of the Hospital, advising on appropriate clinical practices and assist in identifying the health needs of the community and the appropriate services which may be required to meet these needs.

The Medical Advisory Board also oversees the ethical and professional conduct of currently practising accredited medical practitioners.
