Welcome to TORONTO PRIVATE HOSPITAL. Our philosophy is "a patient should be treated as an honoured guest". Toronto Private Hospital is located on the western side of Lake Macquarie, NSW, on the hill overlooking the township of Toronto. Centrally located and a 30 minute drive from the major cities of Gosford, Newcastle and Maitland. Ideally located to take advantage of its position, it offers views of either the mountains or the lake.

Toronto Private Hospital has been continuously accredited with the The Australian Council on Health Care Standards (ACHS) since 1989.

The hospital offers a combination of 72 medical / surgical and rehabilitation beds with two operating theatres, a day theatre and a nine bed recovery ward. All wards and operating rooms are equipped with advanced equipment and medical technology.

    Toronto Private Hospital Medical Centres

    There are two medical centres attached to the hospital. These accommodate Toronto Physiotherapy,  Douglass Hanly-Moir Pathology,  Hunter Imaging Group and Specialist Consultants.

    Construction of a sister hospital and medical centre complex at East Maitland has been completed with the Maitland Private Hospital facilities opening in June 2001.

    The hospital is located on the corner of Excelsior Parade and Cary Street, Toronto. Cary Street is the main arterial road linking the town to Newcastle to the north and the Central Coast to the south. It is conveniently, only 5 minutes from the Toronto exit on the F3 Freeway, between Sydney and Newcastle.
